Written in gratitude for God's magnificent wonders…for things as great as the oceans and as small as a mustard seed.

Lyrics

Glorious Works
Albert Frank Tucci

How manifold are your magnificent wonders,
In wisdom you carefully crafted them all.
You made the cloud columns your chariot vessel,
You ride on the wings of the wind.

With ocean, a garment,
You covered the earth's face.
Below the great mountains the
Waters found rest.
As the mountains rose up,
They went down to the valleys
To a resting place You fixed for them.

In the sea great and wide;
There are schools without number
Of living things mighty and small in their size.
Oh Lord, our Creator we praise you and
Thank you in song for your glorious works!

You send forth your fresh springs,
The fountain-head journeys
And winds among mountains all teeming with life.
And give drink to all beasts of the fields and the valleys
‘Til creatures and man quench their thirst.

May the glory of God endure without end;
May the Lord be glad in His works.

Interlude

You make bread from the earth to
Sustain us and nourish,
And wine from the fruit to gladden our hearts.
You make the moon dance to mark the four seasons;
And the sun knows the hour of day.

The songbirds of heaven are dwelling on
Branches in peace among creatures, they sing forth their song.
You water the mountains from your heavenly palace.
The earth is replete with your works.

May the glory of God endure without end;
May the Lord be glad in His works.

Glory to God in the highest,
We thank you for your Glorious Works!
